Ellátó bar – Crazy stuff, crazy parties

Ellátó Bar is a well-known and beloved underground bistro & pub, which attracts the bohemian residents of the city (from 30′s and upwards).

On weekdays it’s relaxed, you can sit, talk and enjoy a meal or drink, but from Thursday through the weekend everything turns upside down, chaos rules, you can hardly get in and people are dancing on the bar counter.

This is the point of Ellátó, the decorations energize the place and give you the illusion you are at home. You just have to catch the energy and integrate, because here you party not only with your friends but the crazy Ellátó family.

I usually go in and look for Judy (she has been here for 6 years and knows how to lift up your mood), you should do the same. Surely she will persuade you to drink some pinkys, do not dare to refuse. There’s also Patrick, the girls favorite (easy to identify), Szinisa the dorky Serbian chef, Tibi the dancing joke master, the charming Mr Pipó who pays attention to everyone, Marci the tough guy and Balázs the naughty boy, chef Gabi who cooks the best bouillon and feeds you till midnight, Emese who organizes the monthly exhibitions and is always ready for a chat, DJ Steve Gubányi who makes you dance and of course Ferkó, the manager who makes it all work.

I recommend cooking Sundays, when foreign friends cook their own national dish for the guests.

All in all a perfect place to spend a night in good company!
