There was a time in my school when you were cool if you were posing with Costa’s plastic glass. It changed after Leves. opened and made consuming soup a lifestyle. The founders realized a huge gap, that there is no quality fast soup place in the country of Goulash. Right idea at the right time.
The Leves. (=soup) virus spread like in Walking Dead: people “turned” immediately after they had a sip. And after a while everybody around you is eating ‘design soup’ and wants to involve others. As the slogan says: “Eat or we both starve”.
Being located in the catchment area of several university campuses the guys from Leves. started from a perfect position to become rockstars and nowadays the view of queueing people before their tiny premises is just as common as that the Great Market Hall is always full. They started a “movement” of quality street food, after which it came clear that eating on the street doesn’t mean you are eating junk anymore.
The owners also know that smiling at people is not a shame anymore, the shiny happy staff make you feel good even if you come after you failed an exam.
History is in the making and the guys don’t look like they want to stop so they opened a pasta and a dessert place too.
