Not many people consider car-pooling, when making a citytrip in Europe.
However, it’s a cheap and green way to travel, and you meet some interesting people on the way too!
In Europe there are not as many services as there are in the US, but still plenty to choose from!
- E-carpool.eu – A European-wide system, that offers extra safety by tracking some information
- Amovens (Spanish)- A new and enthusiastic kid on the block
- Karzoo – A good-looking community-like website
Although green is getting more popular, the carpooling market seems to be tough. Some promising initiatives that started in 2007 are already offline again (Autostop and Liftpool).
