When we moved to the US, my husband decided to take up golf and he pulled me into it too. Although I have yet to get formal classes and I slow him down if we decide to the hit the course, he doesn’t mind me coming along when he goes to the driving range and we hit a few balls.
It is therapeutic to look at the views in the summer while giving it your best shot on the range and in winters the covered lower deck is heated to still let you keep in form while you wait for summer. A small range bucket costs about $10 and there are no additional fees to use the hitting mat area or the putting greens, so it is an ideal spot for the beginners.
There is also an 18-hole miniature golf course that costs $10 per adult and makes for a good time with friends or if family decides to come along.
