Great Chinatown View – Rustic view of the city

So you’ve made it to Chicago. You may have come here for the great food, the sports, shopping, or maybe you just wanted to see what good ol’ Chicago has to offer. No matter what you came here for there’s definitely one thing you are going to want to get and that is a fantastic landscape photo that is dripping with Chicago flair and personality. There are a couple spots to make this happen all across town but the train trellis bridge view over a Chicago river is probably one of my favorites.

Yes, it’s a little out of the way. Yes, you will have to jump a fence. Yes it looks a tad sketchy for a bit. But any excuse to get an epic photo after eating Chinese food is an absolute win in my book. If you agree with my sentiment take a red line train down to Chinatown and do yourself a favor. Go to the north end of Ping Tom Park. Look for the fence that has been squished down and follow the path up to the trellis.
