I love getting dressed up and feeling fancy from time to time. There is no other place I find myself more than Untitled when I am in this mood.

Untitled is a sprawling restaurant and bar on the lower level below the streets of Chicago. There are several rooms with detailed decor and different featured spirits.  The main room for dinner is where most of the action is at, because there is a live band nightly.

The band schedule is posted on the website, but the vibe on any night is soul. Dining in the main room provides entertainment not only because of the band but also the view of the dance floor. When the band needs a break, burlesque dances keep the entertainment going.

The food here is definitely not overshadowed by the entertainment. In my most recent visit, I enjoyed the winter green salad, the togarashi frites, and Amish chicken breast. The cocktails and wine are great here — I order a French 75 cocktail which is not on the menu but they do a great job at crafting one. If you feel like continuing your night-after dinner, you can stick around Untitled, as the stage turns in a great DJ’d dance party around 11pm, when the band wraps up.
