Deligreco – Gyros pop-up

I have been waiting for this my whole adult life!

Ever since my many childhood summer holidays in Greece, I have been craving the famous gyros. Now I can finally treat myself to the original quality gyros taste, exactly as I remember it. The best tzatziki made with dill, fresh tasty tomatoes, onions and home-marinated pork as tender as butter. On top of that, the bread is sooo delicious!

The original Greek restaurant, Deligreco has a lot more than Gyros to offer. Even though Gyros often is the reason I go, I can’t help craving all the other good food as well.

At one visit, my girlfriend and I were the first customers to order gyros during a summer-gyros-lunch-offer, so we got free retsina bubbles (something I’ve never had before) and a nice chat with the owner. The hospitality and smiles you get when you enter… It’s like being back in Greece

If you want a truly amazing Greek night in Copenhagen, there is no other restaurant than this. If you are lucky enough and they have a Greek band playing, it’s just perfect.
