Laid back and student friendly bar, burger joint and hangout. Flisen translates to “The Tile” – my best guess as to why it’s named that way is that the pavement from outside runs right to the bar. It’s your own personal street themed runway, guiding you where you need to be.
The burgers are mouthwatering and so are the French fries. If you have a student card with you, you can get a student burger and fries for 75 DKK and cheap drinks.
But hey – if you have tried all the burgers you need or you only came to Denmark to eat “frikadeller” and “smørrebrød”, then come here for the drinks and the atmosphere. The walls are tiled with colors and posters and the bar is well equipped to serve you all night long. Hit the happy hour(s) between 16:00 – 22:00 on Fridays, where you get two for one, or show up for a game of table football any other day.
Everyone is here, so if you like to be part of a mixed crowd, this is your place to munch and drink. The student prices normally keep the age averaging around mid/late twenties, after the kitchen closes at 21:00.
Placed at a few minutes walk from the music venue Vega, this could be a part of your perfect Copenhagen evening with music and beer – like a true local.
