Flying A is for the ladies – especially ladies who like to dress up and wear funky and funny accessories, patterns and colors. Flying A is somewhat in the expensive end of the spectrum but it is affordable for the common fashionista and most often the clothes are of a good quality.
The shop has two floors. One of them contains clothes of all sorts: skirts, dresses, t-shirts, pantyhose and everything in between, by designers such as Paul Frank and Fred Perry. The other floor holds shoes (Italian Boccaccini and Patricia Pepe), underwear and other delights.
On the ground floor, there is a large glass showcase and that is the true treasure chest of the boutique. In here you may admire a collection of wallets, hair clips, earrings and other accessories that seem like exotic butterflies on pins under the glass. It can seem a bit overwhelming, but do take your time to sort out the mess of colors and find the most beautiful piece.
I feel obliged to say that Flying A is a trendy shop, for ladies who care about fashion and sometimes it is a bit too fashionable. If you cannot stand the over-the-top trendiness and you only want a few minutes in the shop – head for the showcase!
