Pasta Basta is a two floor restaurant in the centre of the city. The walls are painted in a warm orange color that somehow manages not to be annoying. On the floor below the walls are hand painted with patterns in earthy colors. The light falls beautifully through the large windows and though the guests can be a bit cramped together, it never feels claustrophobic. As the name of the restaurant may suggest, the big deal here is the pasta. If you are in the mood for something light for lunch or you need an appetizer, the cold buffet might be for you. The cook prepares a variable of cold pasta dishes and salads, with vegetables and dressing to every taste. The buffet is never the same, but all the dishes always combine flavors naturally. If you want a warm meal, the pasta with mushrooms and cream is delicious, especially in autumn or winter, when it is cold outside. If you are not in the mood for pasta, do not fear, for other dishes are served! This might be tuna, lobster or Spanish ham. What really makes Pasta Basta worth remembering are the opening hours. Very few restaurants in Copenhagen are open at night, but Pasta Basta is and that makes it a good place for for dinner after a trip to the theater or some other arrangement in the evening. If you are having a night out, you can go directly from your meal to drinks in Coconut Bar downstairs. Details about this spot (Show on map)

Went to Pasta Basta for dinner with a friend, on a beautiful summer evening. The service was very polite and though relaxed, and the food delicious. Specailly the filletn of viel and dessert-tapas is worth trying, and the selection of wines is wide and for very fair prices.
