Would you like to climb the towers of Copenhagen? Well, if you’re not too big, you can. Otherwise you have to send your child.
In the middle of Fælledparken, you have “Tårnlegepladsen”, which directly translates to “The tower playground”. Here you can climb the stock tower and slide down the round tower. The whole playground is a medley of the most well known tall buildings in Copenhagen, made into playable things.
They have scooters and bikes you can play with here, if you’re a size small in life still. If you’re a bit larger than that, you can go to the basketball court in the back. It’s not often visited, so you mainly have the place to yourself and they have art yarn around the whole cage – all year round.
The motto for the playground is “here we are nice. To you and to each other”. It’s a playground with ‘guards’, who keep an eye on everyone playing nice. Go here, even if you feel a bit too old to feel young. It’s a funny little playground out of the ordinary. And it sums up some of the most important buildings to go see in real life while in Copenhagen.
