Vinylbar – Atmosphere by the lake

This cosy spot at Sortedamssøen has it all. Great coffee of all kinds. Check! Extensive menue. Check! Nice view of the lake. Check! Vinyl records in the cieling of the restroom. Check! The last part is almost my favorite thing about the place – but all of the decor has that very retro/low key feel that makes you feel welcome and at home. Oh – and if you have a dog, it’s allowed to go inside as well.

Vinylbar is great for brunch as it offers a large buffet. Order a warm drink and get cosy inside. Or watch the eager runners sprint by, the new moms with their strollers, old people with dogs and just life in general. Be careful when stepping outside – you have to cross a cycle path. You can also stay for dinner and in the evening there’s cocktails and music.

This is one of those all through the day kind of places to hang out and enjoy the city.
