When running about town – particularly, South City Centre – Duck is one of the spots I think of, should hunger pangs strike. Related to the Asia Market just right around the corner, Duck (Hong Kong BBQ) specializes on the obvious, but other delightful items can still be found on the menu of this perfectly compact city eatery.
My favorite, go-to, life-saving item is their sumptuous duck spring rolls; crunchy on the outside and amazing on the inside. As expected, these little goodies are popular crowd-pleasers, so you might have to wait -from time to time- for them to make the next big batch from scratch. Not a bother for me, as I find it very relaxing to watch their brilliant head chef work his magic in the open-view kitchen, while sipping on some delicious Bubble-tea, as I wait for my order.
So, if the restaurants all have 3 hour wait lists, this place can save you a lot of hassle, a lot of time, and some money.
