Musashi IFSC is one of the three Japanese restaurants in Dublin (the fourth one coming soon in the Ballsbridge area) of the same franchise and certainly the most atmospheric. Located in a business area that is crowded during the day, it gets slightly quieter around dinner time.
Recently I went to this place (once again!) during the week with a friend and as usual, was not disappointed. We arrived at 18:00 and settled in a (still) quite empty room with its wonderful jazz ambiance. The menu was very variable, something to get for customers with different preferences: vegetarian, meat and fish dishes all represented well.
Service was super quick and very nice, and the white wine not too pricey for Dublin standards – you can get a bottle for €20. But most importantly, our food was great! This time I had salmon sashimi for a starter, really yum. By the time we left, the room was full, so if you prefer it a bit quieter, I recommend to go there around the same time we came and on a Friday a reservation would make sense as well. I have also heard they do great lunches, so will be back to try one of the promising bento boxes!
