Often, when it comes to restaurants, owners seem to focus on a style, or the food, but not both. 777 is a rare restaurant that bucks the trend with both a fantastically cool decor, and really tasty food. Owner John Farrell is behind the similarly slick operations at The Butcher’s Grill, Dillingers and Super Miss Sue. It’s very much a hipster operation, with tattoo inspired wall art, a diner style counter and their preferred hashtags stencilled on the walls, but one that is done well.
I can’t speak to the authenticity of the dishes at 777 (although they look legit to me) but I can attest to how tasty they are. I’m a fan of their Sunday menu, where each dish costs a bargain € 7.77, and three dishes will serve two hungry diners well, especially if one of those involves the pork sliders. Their margaritas are the stuff of legend, for those who can stomach tequila.
