Woolshed Baa and Grill – Sportsbar in Dublin

Dublin is a city full of sport events, either hurling, rugby, gaelic football or occasionally – soccer. Dubliners like meeting in pubs and watching matches of their favorite teams there. But what if I want to watch a sport/team from another country? Woolshed is a great place for that. I always come here since with a few large projected screens and huge amount of TVs there is always a chance to catch impossible sports game from abroad – American football, or tennis, or a non-Irish soccer match – check their website for upcoming matches.

Woolshed is decorated in Australian style and has an extra room upstairs that would be open when it gets crowded for a particularly important event. In the evening during the week there are number of social events happening – in my student times I used to spend half a night there every Tuesday participating in a pub quiz, and won a few prizes from time to time! There is also a Karaoke night every Monday, I have to check this out.

My friends and I would come here regularly and order yummy chicken wings with fries (ask for half-and-half) or one of the tasty burgers – Woolshed burger has a fried egg on it – delicious! And we often go for one of the craft beers in a pitcher. Highly recommended!
