Stu Anderson (1986)

About me
I grew up in a village called Conon Bridge in the Highlands of Scotland. I moved to Edinburgh in 2004 to pursue a degree in Film. After I graduated, I decided that I wanted to remain in Edinburgh.

My main passion is music, and I play bass in a gruff punk band called The Stay Gones. I’m not just about loud punk though, I love all types of music ranging from jazz to grindcore. My other hobbies include film making, photography, writing, reading, cooking, and running.

Why Edinburgh?
I love the unique Georgian architecture of Edinburgh, and whilst walking through different districts of the city you almost feel like each is a city of it’s own.

I love the buzzing music scene, where it feels like you can catch a great gig almost every night of the week.
During the Fringe festival in the summer it is the place to be, and there is so much going on that it would be impossible to see everything.
