BrewDog is the young upstart of the Scottish brewing world and as expected their recently opened Edinburgh pub is certainly not your regular craft beer pub. The bar has a cool industrial vibe and is very focused on the BrewDog range and a number of unusual brands from around the world. So it is probably not the best place for a non-beer drinker.
BrewDog have made their name by being controversial and different, producing ales such as the super strong ‘Sink the Bismark’ at 41%. The whole range has off the wall names, but not all are super strength. 3.8% ‘Dead Pony Club’ pale ale is on of my favourite.
They don’t neglect the food offering either, with a decent range of meat platters and pizza – but this place is most definitely all about the beer.
