This month Edinburgh brings its most imaginative and mouthwatering array of foods and crafts together to The Biscuit Factory and is run by the Edinburgh Larder so you can expect only the best food Edinburgh has to offer!
We are blessed with several amazing food and craft markets in Edinburgh, in fact, we are spoilt for choice, but this is a good bet if you wish to check out the Leith area of Edinburgh. It can be a good destination if you plan on going to the coast and checking out the port area of the city. The market runs every month but occasionally has a special twist on the style so it’s good to keep an eye on it, but I especially like the fact that all the donations from the door (it’s free entry but all donations are welcome), go to the social enterprise Edinburgh Food Social which aims to make food more accessible and even goes to teach basic cooking skills in our schools and beyond.
Another very desirable feature of this market is the fact that it’s indoors! Anyone visiting Edinburgh has to know that even in Summer we can be a wee bit rainy so this feature really gives this market the edge, and when there is a live band playing and plenty of people around, who needs the sun! The market is on the 29th and 30th of July and it’s sure to be an especially delicious way to spend your afternoon in Edinburgh!
