The Red Kite Cafe – Hang out and meet your friends

The cozy Red Kite Cafe might not be in Edinburgh’s city centre, but it is definitely worth a visit! The Abbeyhill located Cafe offers delicious coffee from Artisan Roast and aromatic teas from Anteaques. Besides the great coffee you can find amazing breakfast, baked goods and lunch options, such as a fish plate, freshly made soup and a variety of sandwiches that will make you want more. One of the reasons their food is so tasty is the fact that The Red Kite uses only locally produced and seasonal ingredients for their dishes.

The wide and large windows are the best features of the Cafe. The natural light gives it a welcoming and bright atmosphere and you will instantly feel at home. Many people come here to sit next to the windows to study, catch up with their friends and even have business meetings.

One of my personal favourites at The Red Kite is their detailed decoration. Every morning the staff decorates each table with amazing, colourful wild flower bouquets.

A great place, even greater raspberry and almond brownies and relaxing, coffee house music playing in the background. What more could you need?
