This restaurant could also be a museum of modern furniture, especially chairs! When entering the place you will immediately understand where its name comes from. Around the tables you will recognise some of the most well known classic chairs from the 60s, 70s and 80s. And if you just cannot live without your favorite chair, you can even buy some of them.
So, the retro chairs create a nice and cozy atmosphere, but is this enough for a restaurant? Obviously not!
Chairs offers creative, fresh and regional dishes. The menu is tiny, but the quality is guaranteed. Most of the ingredients are seasonal and come from the region around Frankfurt: from crunchy salads and Frankfurter Schnitzel up to super tasty shrimps. As the menu changes very often, I cannot recommend anything in particular, my advice, however, would be to try one of their unconventional gastro combinations. Also don’t miss their excellent wine from around Frankfurt.
The service in Chairs is friendly and ready to take questions or make suggestions. Do not forget to make a reservation as spontaneous walk-ins can turn out to be difficult.
