Frankfurt’s rooftop bars offer the rare chance to fully take in the city’s skyline. One famous example is the Fleming’s hotel, with a restaurant and bar on the top floor. Although the drinks are pricey, finding a spot can be challenging. The most likely explanation is the amazing skyline view, by night an impressive light show, and during the day a testimony to Frankfurt’s nickname: Mainhattan!
When the weather allows it, you can enjoy a great Sunday brunch buffet on the roof terrace, even during the winter. Just make sure to call in and reserve a table well in advance. You can also come by for dinner, which will leave your wallet substantially lighter. But the real highlight is enjoying a drink at the bar after sundown. Their sizable wine list, their well-stocked bar and very capable bartenders will make you feel the luxury only a rooftop bar can deliver. My go-to drink here is Gin & Tonic, but I am sure you will find a drink to your taste.
