Beautifully decorated Picknick Cafe is the new hotspot and talk of the town and one of my top choices when I’m fed up with sausage, pizza, pasta or any other kind of traditional Western food.
From falafel to couscous, tajine or delicious cakes, the small menu still offers enough variety for all sorts of hunger and appetite.
Just like the interior decoration, all spices are directly imported from Morocco. Both owners have a long history in Frankfurt’s club and restaurant landscape and I’m sure that their latest project will be a long-lasting success. It is already impossible to find a table on weekends for brunch without a reservation, so I recommend you plan your visit well in advance (at least for the breakfast and dinner).
They are perfectly located at the center of ‘Berger Straße’, a local shopping mall with small shops and lots of cafes. It’s worth it to stroll around and discover this neighborhood, Bornheim, one of the best places to live in Frankfurt.
