It’s hot chocolate season and Boréal has some of the best in town!
I really like cozy coffee shops but the big chains are usually overcrowded, overpriced and not very personal.
After starting my masters in Geneva I pretty quickly found out about Boréal, which is a really great place to read, write, meet friends and relax. You also find people drawing and painting!
They have great coffee and snacks as well as the typical, more sophisticated frappuccino creations (my favourite is the one with Oreos). Boréal is also one of the few spots in Geneva that is open on Sundays and a good alternative to the library for a study session, but also to just meet up with friends.
Boréal has a lot of success and thus has opened new shops in Eaux-Vives, at Rue Chantepoulet and at Rue du Mont Blanc. The one at Stand is my favourite since it is the original and the biggest one.
