L’Adresse is a nice restaurant, which became quite fashionable. It is divided into two parts: a shop where you can find nice clothes and a restaurant and is located in the Eaux-Vives, near the lake. During the summer, there is a nice terrace outside, which is on the rooftop. At lunch, you will be able to see the shop; at night it’s closed. The food is quite expensive but it is a great place to go especially at lunch, since the plat du jour is less than CHF 20.-. They have very original meals and very good bottles of wine. The carpaccio is excellent and the pastas definitely have to be tasted! Details about this spot (Show on map)

I would say that the idea is fun, but this restaurant does not live up to it. First of all, the food is of very varying standard. We were a group of six and we ordered the same starter all of us, the tuna starter, some of us receiving it cold, others medium warm and yet the last person got it hot. The other dishes were OK but quite expensive for what you got. The waiter refused to give us olive oil and salt when we asked for it, claiming that it would ruin the culinary experience (of the half-cold dishes)…..The apple tart for dessert was served fridge cold, very weird. The location is nothing special if you go there in the evening, since the clothes shop is closed then and the rooftop is surrounded by higher buildings, so no view. The concept idea is fun though, and with some elaboration as well as more client focus, it might get interesting. We’re not going back, though.
