About me:
At the moment, I study at the University of Geneva, enjoying the luxury of having a flat in the old town.
Why Geneva?
I’ve lived almost all my life in Geneva, so I’m very much attached to the city. It’s the place I feel at home and have my habits. I feel a part of it.
I have traveled quite a bit and I must say that generally, to live in, nothing can challenge Geneva. Barcelona’s nightlife sure is crazier, Paris’ museums sure are greater, but Geneva has the perfect balance mainly because of its size. And even if I really plan to leave to live somewhere else some time, I know I’ll be back.
I think Geneva fits perfectly in the Spotted by Locals project, maybe more than bigger, more visited cities because of the apparent poverty of Geneva’s nightlife, for example. In fact if Geneva is an interesting city to visit, the facilities are probably more aimed at classical “organized-tour” kind of visitors than independent, curious tourists.
The project might therefore be very useful to that kind of visitors, many of who might not enjoy the city as it should be. I’m happy to eventually – hopefully – be helpful!
