In December 2016 and January 2017 we promoted the city of Ghent (Belgium) on our blogs & social media channels for 2 full months.
The price for this campaign was Euro 8.500 and consisted of 6 elements:
1. Blog articles
After a briefing from Visit Ghent about preferred topics, we wrote 4 articles on our blog promoting Ghent, in cooperation with our locals. 3 of them (the 4th is scheduled for late January 2017):
2. A header visual
On our recently re-launched new (fully responsive) website, can now promote advertisers in a subtle and beautiful way: with large rotating header including a “read more” link. Visit Ghent is the first advertising partner to take advantage of this opportunity.
3. Article in Huffington Post & The Independent
4. Promotion on social networks
We shared 20 social media updates about Ghent with our Twitter followers (9,950) and Facebook followers (total likes: 46,000).
5. Free Ghent app & in-app advertising
To give potential visitors an extra reason to visit Ghent now, we made our Ghent app (price Euro / USD 3.99) available for free during the duration of the campaign. All users (350.000 installations so far) receive a one-time pop-up when they start up their Spotted by Locals app.
6. Mention in newsletter
We promoted Ghent in our Q1 2017 newsletter
