Elle et Gand – Young Scandinavian & Belgian Design

During the last couple of years, the exclusive shopping spots in Ghent have increased. Especially the neighborhood where Elle et Gand is stated has become a popular place that one mustn’t overlook when having your shopping spree in the city. This boutique was opened a couple of years ago by Julie Huysman. She translates her personal style through the offer of garments you can find in the shop. Not only for women to spend; our male friends can also score some nice accessories.

And this place is more than just a place to shop: Julie is the most charming host ever. You can chat and scan the collection while chatting over an espresso.

In her showroom you can find a mixed selection of Scandinavian brands and an offer of young Belgian designers. Amongst the shoe brands, they even have the ‘Swedish Hasbeens‘ shoe brand of which I am a personal fan!

This shop is not only for fashion lovers, but for style lovers in general: the art that covers the walls and even the design furniture is for sale!
