This coffee bar remains a go-to among all the other new coffee places. They set a new standard for this black gold and keep innovating. Katrien, the owner, published a book where she explains everything there is to know about coffee and tea and how to make splendid drinks at home. She also organizes barista trainings and trips throughout the year. So passionate about coffee, you’ve got to hand it to her.
The espresso bar is open every day. This was my first cappuccino nirvana experience and to this day it remains my favourite location to order the creamy cup of sweetness. Once in a while with a croissant or a New York Bagel. There is not that much choice in what to eat, but there is enough. If you don’t know which coffee you would like, the baristas are eager to suggest their recommendations. It can get crowded and noisy in the bar, but during the quiet moments it is a little piece of zen, especially in spring and summer when the sun shines softly on you through the big windows. I still cannot get enough of it and keep coming back.
