Lisa La Marra (1996)

About me
I was born and raised in a small town near Venice, Italy, although, after graduating high school, I decided to continue my studies in the UK.
With a lot of hard work and a little bit of luck, I found myself in Glasgow, a city that has, and will always have, a special place in my heart: despite the almost constant drizzle, the people here are always on the move and friendly to everyone, which is definitely one of the reasons why I would like to stay here for as long as I can.

I’m currently studying to become a Product Designer, and one day I would like to open my own design firm, but in the meantime, I enjoy all the perks of the student’s life.

When I’m not busy working on my school projects, I love to discover new places and to go on day trips around Scotland, always taking too many pictures and never remembering to print them.

I have been in a happy and successful relationship with food since 1996. Also, I’m a hopeless caffeine addict and I am very much looking forward to sharing all my favourite spots!

Why Glasgow
As you might have guessed, I love Glasgow for an infinite number of reasons!

However, if I had to choose the most important ones I would say:
1. Glaswegians
2. The extensive choice of things that you can do without needing a car
3. The rare, unpredictable times when, after ten days of rain, the sun comes out and everyone rushes outside to enjoy the good weather
4. Incredible pubs & clubs!

Also, who wouldn’t want to live in the birthplace of Rennie Mackintosh and the deep-fried Mars bar?

Where else can you find me online?
