Stuart Crawford (1982)

About me:
I was born in a tiny, useless village and moved to Glasgow at my first opportunity, spending some time in the Southside before moving to Woodlands, which is obviously the best bit. It’s minutes from the heart of the city but at the same time very peaceful.

A university dropout, I devoted several years to teaching myself photography, which remains my abiding passion. I love dancing and urban exploration.

Why Glasgow?
I love Glasgow because there’s always something new to see. It’s full of surprises, of hidden corners, of secret alleyways and arcane architecture.

The city’s industrial heritage has left it strewn with fascinating ruins to explore, while it still boasts more greenspace per capita than any other city in the world, and more bookshops than anywhere except Toronto. Above all, Glasgow is a city of character, and it’s a character I admire.
