Glasgow University – 550+ years of history

Although I’m not personally a student there I enjoy just walking around the Glasgow University area. The university has been in existence since 1451 and those 550 years plus of history that you can sense just by walking past it.

The main building is probably the most grand and majestic building in the whole of Glasgow and is definitely worth a look at for anybody who is interested in architecture.

As the university attracts students from all over the world there are loads of people of different colour and race which produces an area where you can be guaranteed to meet somebody interesting.
