This is my favourite second hand clothing shop in Glasgow. One of the reasons being that I find it easy to tell that this shop is very selective. All clothing items are, of course, used, but in very good conditions, and big sections of the store are organized by colour. Whenever I feel that my wardrobe is lacking a bit of originality, the first place I go to is Glasgow Vintage Company. The clothing racks on the street always pull me in.
Once, I spotted a Levis denim jacket with that worn, but not too worn, just right, light blue colour. It was love at first sight, and there was no doubt that I had to have it. Besides lovely denim, this store also has a surprisingly big selection of cashmere shirts – and the best part? They cost a tenner each. Glasgow Vintage Company’s fantastic prices are probably also why I keep coming back.
The store specializes in clothes from the 1950s to the 1980s. You can find women’s clothes upstairs, as well as coats and some accessories. Downstairs is the men’s department and dressing rooms. If you are anything like me, and like to add a few old school fashion items to your wardrobe, you must visit this spot!
