Elisabeth Grosser (1973)

About me
Hey, I am Elisabeth and I love to tell you about all the unique and great spots in my city Hamburg! I am married and have two boys aged 9 and almost 8 years old. We live in the very northeast of Hamburg in a quarter called Volksdorf. In 1999 I moved to Winterhude, then to Uhlenhorst and a few years later to Eimsbüttel.

But I am a so called Quiddje, that means ‘not born in Hamburg’, my hometown Fulda lies in Hessen, the very center of Germany. I studied in Leipzig and Canada, got my diploma in Munich and then – found my love in Hamburg and settled down.

I am quite a nosy person, always keen on discovering surprising and sometimes rough places with a special flair and opportunities. I love to experience unknown places and to celebrate the known ones.

Why Hamburg?
Hamburg is a great mixture of everything :-). The Hamburgers are tolerant and open-minded, they enjoy life, different perspectives, culture, sports and are proud of Hamburg being a real cosmopolitan city.

Hamburg shows a perfect interaction between traditional and very modern parts. I love the river Elbe and the nearby sea and therefore the presence of maritime elements all over the city.
