On my never-ending journey for great breakfast places, it is impossible not to mention Balz und Balz. Delicious freshly baked bread and rolls from one of the best bakeries in town, amazingly aromatic cheese, highest quality meat or tempting maple yoghurt… no matter what you order at this place, you will always have the pleasure to taste food creations of the highest quality, of course always arranged beautifully on the pretty dishes. The refreshing menu at Balz und Balz is definitely far away from ordinary, mainstream food.

Topped with the incredibly friendly and helpful staff (you can really feel that the owners put their hearts and souls into this place!) and the comfy and yet minimalistic, straight-lined atmosphere of the café, this place is already a must-go.

But then – for all you coffee-lovers out there – you will have to try their coffee! Top-quality coffee beans, a huge amount of coffee-knowledge and some beautiful latte art add up to a really tempting example of the brown gold. Pair it with one of their freshly baked cinnamon rolls and you’ll be happy 🙂
