I’d like to say to you, how stunning you are. You are perfect to meet friends or strangers or both and it’s like they already know each other. Always you welcomed me with open arms, no matter if I was stressed out or absolutely relaxed, there was a place for me and a smile on your face.Your drinks are cheap and groovy. Your cosy couches and the yellow-red lamp shades in the back rooms are reminiscent of my grandmother´s warm living room. About the secrets and mystics in your vault, we have to talk next time once more. The rooms are a bit shabby and rustic – but it’s honest! Let’s face it: You are the real Zoë, the authentic Zoë!

This place has three separate spaces of 70 square meters. HausIII&70.

1) A Club for concerts and jam-sessions.

2) An Outbuilding (Anbau) for watching Tatort, readings and table fusball .

And 3) The hall (Saal) for theater, dance, classical music. It always offers three different programs, beside the Rote Flora. As different as day and night are, so it is here.

In the cosy cafe I like to eat simple, but nice breakfasts with latte macchiato and Franzbrötchen outside in the sun or inside with comfortable sofas. With their free wireless internet (just bring your notebook) you can write your assignments for university there or just chill all day long. When the sun goes down the Haus III&70 revives itself.

The small indoor-Kiosk is always worth the trip. The people are very mixed; from dancing queens to chillers, from artists to footballers, from students to professors. There are too many people there on the weekend, but it’s always in my plans.

All-around it’s a wonderful place to be.

Every second Tuesday there is a special cinema-experience. In the backyard of the Brigittenstraße in St Pauli you can find a very small cinema called B-Movie. The Dokumentarfilm Salon shows selected documentary films there, often followed by a debate with the director or other participants. The cinema has only 75 seats and there is a little bar where you can buy some snacks and drinks.

Films could be German so you should check the program on their homepage if you are not German. All films are carfully selected and refer to interesting, political and social topics.

If you come to late and it might be too crowded you could stay at the bar for a chat. What is interesting on top: you can rent the b-movie for your own private cinema show.
