I’m a big fan of hunting for cool vintage bargains and second hand stores, so when a friend of mine told me about this little gem opening in the Hakaniemi market hall (which I also happen to really like anyway), I wasted no time and went to check it out. (Read the Hakaniemi Hall article.)
On the second floor of the local market hall, half-Finnish-half-Dutch owner Darja opened her little boutique a couple of weeks ago. After having worked in fashion for a while, she now decided to bring her hand-picked selection of modern second hand and exclusive Finnish vintage clothes to a little booth. Besides classics you will also find really odd and extraordinary pieces here, all decorated and set it scene with a great deal of passion! Especially if you’re looking for some Finnish design items to take home as a souvenir (if you’re visiting) or to add just the right little something to your outfit, you should definitely drop by. She also features some hand-made modern Finnish design items, like a bunch of bags
Come by and browse, and with her good eye I’m sure Darja will also pick out something that will surprise you!
NOTE: It’s a pop-up place, so she’ll only be here until the end of April. So take your chance
