Here’s another addition to the nice cafe’s in Helsinki. Good Life Coffee looks just like a second living room for a colorful bunch of Kallio hipsters and urban families. It is not hard to say why. It has all the ingredients: laid back, small business, non-franchise, for-us-by-us-quality, cozy atmosphere and quality coffee. Plus a record player rotating vinyls right next to cashier. I’m sure they would play your own records if you were to take some with you.
GLC serves you good coffee and tea and then some sweet buns, cookies and sandwiches. The basic set. Most of the time different roasts come from small Finnish roasteries but sometimes there’s European ones as well.
Good Life Coffee also sells bags of coffee beans, books and a small selection of equipment. The location is as central in Kallio as you can get, not that far away from the Töölönlahti bay area and park, which is very nice for summery walks.
