Los Cojones has a nice party going down on weekends and it’s a cool bar to enjoy some refreshments before night gets busy. Despite its name, the atmosphere is relaxed, the decor is nice and the staff is very friendly.
Usually when I end up there, I’ll have a cocktail or a beer, and maybe some tasty pintxos. On my first visit I gathered enough courage to try the red wine pissing statue located at the bar, which probably isn’t there anymore. For €4 a glass it wasn’t as bad as I supposed.
If you are looking for a huge selection of beers, Los Cojones is in a lightweight class. It has a basic selection of local lagers and some nice, mostly Spanish, imported alternatives. But you know, maybe beer sipping is not a reason to come here in the first place.
Weekends are quite busy with DJs playing in the evenings. So it’s the pintxos, the vibe and cojones in general that make this place worth the andale, andale, arriba, arriba.
