When I first came here I wasn’t entirely sure if I was at the right place, as I was slightly confused by the look of the room. It reminded me more of a children’s daycare with all the brightly coloured furniture and the toys everywhere. The knitting lady from the corner got up and asked us what we wanted, so we tried it with coffee and the cinnamon buns which were highly recommended by a friend.
We enjoyed our afternoon treat by listening to Finnish schlagermusic and wondering about the café and how it might have come to being.
This kahvila is easy to reach and yet still easy to overlook as well. My friend hadn’t promised too much, the cinnamon buns were delicious (and a great deal price-wise!), so it’s definitely worth stopping by!
