The Circus nightclub – Club, concerts & table games

During the weekends The Circus is massive nightclub in the very heart of Helsinki city. This massive club resides on two floors. There are several bars on both floors and a so called “mini Casino” with various table games from roulette to poker. There is a huge round dance floor in the first floor. The second floor is a more relaxing lounge with lounge chairs and sofas as well VIP areas.

Sometimes during the weekdays or Sundays The Circus will turn into a middle sized ‘music hall’. Last time I was there – the UK band called The Hurts was playing there (picture above). My favourite band at the moment and it was sold out! Good gig!

The next band I plan to go to see is my old time favourite The Brand New Heavies! Yes the UK band with vocalist Honey Larochell. They will be playing Saturday the 24th of April.

Usually the gigs are sold out quite fast so if you want to party – act now! During the spring time the club has several gigs and other events – which you can all find on their webpage.

And the nightclub? Perfect for those who love massive nightclubs with regular pop and disco beats. Nowadays its too large for my taste, but it is a nice space and nice club – nothing wrong with it. Actually if I were 5 to 10 years younger it would be perfect club for my taste!

Age limit is 24 and they will ask for your ID.
