First I thought that you asked me one question about something.
You: What does fast food mean to you Sevcan?
I think I’m eating tantuni three days of the week. Sometimes I order at home, sometimes I go there. Sometimes I make it in my home! Especially after a Saturday night in Taksim, eating a juicy tantuni makes me happy.
Tantuni is a kind of traditional fast food in Turkey. The taste comes from Mersin, which is my hometown (the Mediterranean part of Turkey). If you like quesadillas or wraps, you’ll love tantuni. It is a hot lavaş wrap consisting of julienned lamb, stir-fried on a sac on a hint of cottonseed oil. They’re serve with lemon and pickles. Each tantuni is 5 TL in Suat Usta and if you want to watch a match, you can also go there. They have 4 tables in the place but a big TV.
They only have soft drinks and they serve very very fast. Maybe in 2 minutes you will take your meal and while they were preparing it, you can watch them and learn the recipe!
