It’s the same for Istanbul visitors, I’m sure you’re willing to bring home a carpet or a traditional small lamp once you visit shops around old town. Traditional handcraft stores is a project of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to support traditional handcraft designers and producers. All pieces are bought directly from handcraft artists all around Turkey and sold for affordable prices in these shops. This large stores offers souvenirs, carpets, jewellery, books, cds etc. on 2 floors and there’s something for all tastes.
