Here is an alternative pastry that you’ve found in Nişantaşı, İstanbul instead of Paris.
Grandma is a new generation café with limited seats but lots of things to eat. Especially on the weekend, there is a little risk to find a free place. But you are a tourist and you can also visit on weekdays!
I tasted their croissant, brioche, orange-almond cake, a non-fat fruitcake with no sugar and a muffin with Turkish delight and walnut. You can also find scones, vegetable quiches, salads, cakes, mini sandwiches and classic breakfast stuff such as menemen (our traditional eggs meal).
I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve heard that their coffee is also nice. So, especially for the muffin with Turkish delight and walnut, go and try the little place.
Nişantaşı is a very central region that you can reach by subway. You can also find many shops there. After having a little break in Grandma, you can continue your sightseeing in Nişantaşı.
