Miniaturk – Anatolian miniature park

You came to Istanbul for only 5-6 days and want to discover all the main highlights in Turkey? You can spend a couple of hours in Miniaturk to reach your goal.

Miniaturk is a open-air park with full of models of Anatolia’s touristic places. They have a total of 120 models of which 57 of the structures are from Istanbul, 51 are from Anatolia, and 12 are from the Ottoman territories that today lie outside of Turkey.

What can you see while walking inside the park?  The Hagia Sophia, Selimiye Mosque, Rumeli Fortress, Galata Tower from İstanbul and Safranbolu Houses to the Sumela Monastery, Mount Nemrut, the Temple of Artemis and the Halicarnassus Mausoleum from Anatolia.

There is also a gift shop that sells souvenirs of Miniaturk. So you can keep a memory from a place that you really like.

Just don’t forget. If you come to Turkey in winter, decide to go there according to the weather. It can be a bit difficult to discover all models while walking in bad weather.
