This open air cafe located at the far end of Gülhane Park is a hidden gem away from hustle and bustle, and it offers one of the best panoramic views of Istanbul. When the weather is good, it’s my favourite place to read a book or rest after a long walk.
Something else that makes this place special is the traditional way of serving tea in a samovar, which is brought to your table with glasses, tea strainer and sugar. A samovar is good for at least 3 glasses of tea before it gets colder.
If you’re lucky like me, you have the chance to watch dolphins jumping out of sea when migrating from the black sea to the Mediterranean. When you’re around old town, pay a visit to enjoy the scenery and Turkish tea in traditional way.
