This is the biggest national fair for all the antique lovers! It is active only 12 times a year, the last Saturday of each month, so please check your dates before scheduling a visit.
It’s located in the Expo Center on the left bank of Kiev, easy accessible by metro (Levoberezhna Station), enormous in size and full of antiques. If you are looking for a real traditional Ukrainian vyshyvanka (national embroidered dress, such a hype in fashion nowadays) or carpets from the 19th century, this is the right place. There are also plenty of Soviet items that can add a lot of fun to your apartment.
I would not say it’s a pure second-hand market, rather more of a flea and art market. Professional collectors come really early (around 04:00) to chase the best pieces and prices. So my strong recommendation is not to postpone your visit too much – you will need some time to look around. And it can be a nice start of your weekend for sure!
The next date is a bit out of schedule – on the 28 of October.
