You’re probably familiar with the pan-European trend of sophisticated coffee roasting, slow-food, free trade movements etc. I am happy to announce that in Kraków we have a place that can be placed in this category, and yet still remains local and unique.
Karma Coffee Roasters is a lovely place in the Kazimierz district, and its main focus is, quite obviously, coffee. You can get different varieties, prepared for you in many, for me almost alchemy-ish, ways. If you’re not familiar with this topic, the lovely staff will be more than happy to give you all necessary information. Afterwards, you’ll have the pleasure of enjoying that precious coffee of yours in a lovely, modern interior or outdoors. And if you ask me, outdoors is the absolute winner.
Every last Saturday of the month, there are also breakfasts served by the ladies from Głodne Kawałki. The dishes they serve are made from local ingredients, and are mostly “reinterpretations” of forms and flavours we know very well – or we think we do.
This venue is where all factors that are necessary when you want an ideal urban, and yet local spot, to cumulate. There is an excellent interior [elegant but not overdone], an extraordinary backyard, superb food and beverages and a great, relaxed atmosphere. Other visitors are students, parents with children, owners of neighboring cafes or restaurants… perfectly local as well. So, if you want to enjoy your coffee and also spend some time in a quite special surrounding, Karma is waiting!
