As Krakow’s bar and restaurant scene is starting to spill over into unexplored territories new and very interesting places are popping up all over the place. The recent trend has been just over the river from Kazimierz in Podgorze, however the owners of Konfederacka 4 have managed to find an old bakery and turn it into a wine bar in the Stare Debniki part of town just across the river from Wawel Castle.
The first time I made it here it was by accident while exploring this neighborhood with friends, and because we all enjoy a nice glass of wine we decided to drop by the following week for brunch. Back then this place served some small dishes to compliment your wine selection but since have expanded their kitchen and menu, so it’s worth seeing what’s cooking today in their open kitchen!
They also host different culinary and wine tasting events which are posted on the FB Page, for now unfortunately only in Polish. If you dare to venture to this not so distant yet rarely visited by tourists part of town I’m sure this joint won’t disappoint.
