In 2008, Spotted by Locals was the first to start a network of blogs by personally selected local bloggers (“Spotters”). Currently, Spotted by Locals offers blogs in 33 cities around Europe, written by locals who pass on tips from a personal and local perspective and keep their articles up-to-date and up-to-season.
In 2010 Spotted by Locals started offering downloadable PDF cityguides. This week, Spotted by Locals made available 33 100% offline iPhone apps, with up-to-date tips by real locals in the coolest cities in Europe.

It is no exception users of mobile travel apps abroad ended up with bills over Euro 500,=. Spotted by Locals offers one of the few iPhone travel apps that require no internet access at all. All tips, and all maps, are included in the application.
Find real local tips around you
City travelers or people who just moved to a city often have a hard time finding real local spots in the city they visit. Using the Spotted by Locals iPhone app, travelers can now see which Spotted by Locals tips are around them (no internet access needed), filter them by category (art & culture, relax, eat, drink) and navigate to spots they like to visit using the offline maps.
